BACON

BACON!

We love breakfast food.  We just don't love mornings.
So, compromise:
Breakfast For Dinner!

I think it took three trips before I could find this bacon, though.  I had to use my #Kroger app to find the location.  I was starting to think it didn't exist, which was going to be crazy and make me very sad because I was really looking forward to this #free sample.  So, to keep you from all your searching.... it was with the packaged lunch meats.  Which in my store is just to the right of the bacon section.  I'm pretty sure I only finally found it because my husband really did want the lunch meat, and surprise! There's fresh bacon there, too.

I say fresh, because it's Uncured Natural Choice, but don't mistake that for what's out of the meat counter.  This is still prepackaged.

And pretty.

Depending on who you are, this is either a funny or a sad story:

So my route to work is also the same route that a certain semi takes.
One day, we stopped at a stop light together, I look out my window, and make eye contact with a pig.  I notice the truck is full of this round pink-nosed snorting creatures.
The light turns, and we go about our way.  Later on, the truck slows down and I pass him on our long two-lane road north.  Turns out the name of the company on the side of the cab is "Bacon, By Gosh!"
That very same afternoon, as I am returning down the long road back from work, I again am driving along side the semi.
Only this time...

He Was Empty.

Goodbye, pig.  Thanks for being yummy.

So, breakfast for dinner.  It was simple; bacon, hashbrowns, and eggs.

My husband prefers his eggs over easy.  It grosses me out that they're still runny.
What's ironic: I can cook them "perfect" and he can't.

Scrambled, with cheese, for me please!

And, of course:
With Bacon On Top!

Y'all should try this bacon. It's all real flavor, and not all the salt trying to fake it.
If I didn't make so many eggs and hashbrowns (which by the way, this non-frozen brand is great!), I think I could have eaten the whole package of bacon.
