Welcome to another edition of: FREE STUFF FROM KROGER This time, they sent me a whole envelope FULL of coupons for FREE items! Not 25¢ off or whatever... FREE.  All things that can be found in their freezer section, too.   Now, I've shopped the freezer section for years... technically my entire life, I just wasn't paying for it the first 18 or so years (thanks, mom!)  I've eaten anything from hot pockets (please don't judge) to a fancy complete meal like the ones from P.F. Chang's (again, don't judge... I know they're expensive, but surely you know I used a coupon or at least cashed in on a great sale!) But, I really enjoy fresh food, that I can mix up and cook myself to our taste and preferences.  This project did just that.  And yes, it was a bit of a project, only because there were SO MANY choices. So... Rory likes tacos.

Once again, part of dinner was brought to us for FREE by KROGER . This time: chips and salsa.  So, of course, we had to have a taco night .  🍅🌮 As the years fly by, I'm discovering all the things my body doesn't like anymore.  Taco seasoning, spices, and the like give me heartburn.  That's new.  And very unpleasant.  Which also includes tomatoes🍅, chocolate🍫, coffee☕... all the delicious stuff that I have to eat in moderation now.  So a free container of red, tomato-ful salsa was mostly for my husband. Lucky. Not only does he not suffer from heartburn, he hasn't puked since I've known him!  12 years and counting.  Don't we all want to be so lucky!  At least taking a daily vitamin has helped me control that.  Everyone should take their vitamins! But, this is a post about the lime... but no coconut. Just tomatoes.  And actually, a lack of lime.  We both thought the same thing and had the "meh" face when we tried...

This is How You Save at the Pump!

I can't tell you just how excited I was when I saw the theme for this Kroger Mission.  It's called "Fuel Your Passion" and they don't know what they've just done. They gave us free fuel points to add to what we already had, and then want me to talk about why we love to hit the road!!! As much as love Kroger (and it's a lot) I love even more how I get there. Let's start at the beginning: Christmas 2016: I got a Kindle Fire. It came with a free 3-month subscription to read lots of books.  I found a book I liked and then the author released more books in the series the next two years.
