Hi. You might be thinking that you are reading Amanda's blog about her free Kroger stuff. Today, however, we have a guest blogger: me. This episode of “Doing Stuff with Free Things” is brought to you by Payton, Amanda's husband, and by the letter “fire.” The suggested recipes that came with our Kroger Promotion package included a pizza. A barbeque pizza. That's fine and all, but there's a boss little pizza place in town that sometimes serves loaded baked potato pizzas which will make your heart grow three sizes larger, and I just had a hankerin’ for one. The problem is, they only serve it one day a week, and you have to be The Flash or a Russian spy to be able to time it just right so that you can get one before they're gone. And I am neither. What? It's November 21st? How?  When did that happen? Oh, right..... Homecoming happened, and I worked my tush off so much that I woke up the very next morning with what quickly turned into a sinus infection and bronchitis. Hey, at least my body waited until AFTER the biggest event of the year I host. Thanks I guess.... even though I paid for it by every single breath being a struggle for the next two weeks!  UGH. Just as I thought maybe I was on the mend.... Mom called just before 2:30 AM Friday, November 10 to tell me that there had been a fire. My step brother was burned, as was his younger son.  His older son, who had just turned 19, who had just graduated from high school and was thinking about all the possibilities life was suppose to give him... didn't make it out.  The firefighter died in a fire in his own home. Knowing it was going to be a long, hard week,with few answers, mom wouldn't let me go up there with them. So I spent the next several days in ...

Just Breathe - #freesample

Let's get one thing straight: Breath and Breathe are two different words.  Please spell them correctly and then use them correctly. Breath is what you take in, Breathe is the act you're performing.           Take a Breath.           Just Breathe. Breathe Right strips. Most of the time I feel like my nose doesn't get out of the way enough for air to come through.  These strips help pull my nose open to allow extra air flow while I'm sleeping. If I could get away with wearing them all day long, I would.   But no one wants to see this out... you will not find me on that website about People Of certain-store-that-shall-not-be-named.  Plus, I try to go to my local Kroger for everything I possibly can, which you know.   I had not tried the fabric ones before.
